CSR is the bedrock of our long term commitment to create value for our stakeholders and the nation. We aim to be socially responsible in the communities in which we operate and we do this through a variety of initiatives designed to support our stakeholders while pursuing business value. Some of the activities the bank has undertaken include:

• Sponsorship of crossing signs for school children to prevent accidents
• Grants for bright but needy students
• Sponsorship of boreholes and other sanitation projects
• Donation of executive and staff time to deprived communities
